At 7pm today Feba will challenge Perugia in the first match for the women’s basketball Final Four. The Civitanovesi have the chance against the Umbrian team to qualify for the last act of this phase scheduled for tomorrow, cultivating the dream of passing for the national finals. The previous defeats of the two matches, the other being the Roman derby between San Raffaele and Elite Basket, will instead enter the finals for 3rd and 4th place, with the winner of the two being able to play a further play-off against the winner of the Sardinia. “During the week – says player Natalia Panufnik – we prepared ourselves as best we could from a physical and mental point of view: we will have to play two matches in two days and we will be ready to try to reach the final. We will face an opponent like Perugia who we know well. It’s an organized team with important individuals, which has strengthened in 2024. We’ll have to work well on the details that will make the difference.” And on the opportunities linked to winning this challenge, she then explains what will be the most complex aspects to manage. “The mental one. In similar matches – clarifies the player – you have to approach right away and you cannot suffer any lapses in concentration. However, the physical aspect will also be important because playing such close matches is never easy and we will have to have the contribution from part of all.”
