It is not an exaggeration to define Tuscany at the top of the world, not for the results of the athletes but in the organizational field. In Florence at the headquarters of the Tuscany Region the presentation ceremony of “Toscana Tricolore 2024” which includes eight events with the awarding of 25 titles, including road, track and off-road. The governor of Tuscany Eugenio Giani, the president of the Federciclismo Cordiano Dagnoni, the commissioner of the Lega Ciclismno Professionisti Cesare Di Cintio, the regional president of the Committee Saverio put, together with mayors, representatives of the 11 municipalities involved and the organizers of 8 companies, have defined Tuscany, the cradle of cycling. A prestigious program dedicated to the memory of 4 great cycling champions and personalities such as Gino Bartali, Alfredo Martini, Gastone Nencini and Franco Ballerini. The Italian junior championships (men and women) will take place on 17 and 18 June on the Enzo Sacchi Velodromo track in Florence; on 19 and 20 June in Grosseto all the time trial titles from professionals to students. The elite women’s online race will take place on Saturday 22 June, starting from Florence and arriving in Scarperia-San Piero a Sieve; Sunday 23 June the Italian Professional Championship with the “Per Semper Alfredo” race which will start from Florence, will touch the streets of Mugello then 4 laps of 19 km with the tough climb of via Baroncoli between Calenzano and Sesto, where the arrival is expected after 235 km. On 6 July in Lucca the trials of the female debutants and students took place, followed 24 later in Marginone di Altopascio by the male trials of the 1st and 2nd year debutants and students. On 22 September numerous titles will be up for grabs in the Pump Track specialty at the Alfredo Martini cycle track in Ponte Buggianese, and finally on 6 October on the Island of Elba the enduro tricolor for all categories, men and women.
