There are now a few hours left until the final of group A of the Eccellenza Pugliese championship which will see Bisceglie face Molfetta Calcio on Sunday 28 April, with kick-off at 4.30 pm, at the “Ventura”.
A match absolutely not to be missed for the Nerazzurri who ended the championship in first place with 64 points fruit of 21 wins, 1 draw and 4 defeats boasting a margin of 7 points over the Molfetta team. During the regular season the Nerazzurri scored 73 goals which makes them the best attacking unit. The red and white team, coached by Branà, suffered 16 goals, as did Bisceglie.
The Nerazzurri have two out of three results available. In fact, Di Meo’s boys would secure the pass for the final against Ugento scheduled for Sunday 5 May at home if they win or draw at the end of the two extra times.
It’s about the fifth match of the season between the two teams in the championship and cup with the balance sheet being perfectly equal (two wins each). It will also be a challenge between Pignataro and Lopez who have scored 21 and 19 goals respectively.
Considering the considerable stakes at stake, the public for special occasions is not excluded.
