What to do today (Saturday 27 April) in the province of Cuneo: the events

Dear friends and readers of Cuneo24we offer you below some suggestions on how to spend this Saturday 27 April choosing among the many events that the province of Cuneo proposes.

TO WedgeLike every last Saturday of the month, the antiques and collectibles stalls return under the porticoes of Corso Nizza and Piazza Europa for the traditional Trovarobe market.

Always at Wedge, at 9pm at the Toselli Theater in Cuneo, the show “Historia de un amor” will be staged. Somostango offers a look at the love story that unites the city of Buenos Aires and Tango, almost as if they were two lovers. Buenos Aires and Tango seem to merge into a single intense feeling, they seek out and feed each other their mutual passion. Sometimes, however, they distance themselves, betray each other and abandon each other with a certain indifference. And then they look for each other again, in this indispensable need to be together. The origins of Tango and its evolution become fundamental to understanding a city full of charm and contradictions: the identity of one gives meaning to the identity of the other. Twelve dancers and two actors give life to “Historia de un amor”, where the emotions that this dance, one of a kind, provokes, become the vehicle to discover the culture of a people, the Argentine one, the magic that comes from the city of Buenos Aires and the indissoluble bond he has with Tango since its origins. Musicians with great international experience, such as Juan Rivero, Pianist of the Sexteto Milonguero, Francesco Bruno, Bandoneonist of the Tango Spleen Orchestra and dancers from the Cuneo area under the direction of Cecilia Diaz and Oscar Gauna give life to a show that will take the public to Argentina, even through the projection of images that describe the beauty of the landscapes and the richness of the culture of a country that recognizes the unparalleled contribution of Italian immigrants.
