Taking a taxi in Trapani from May 1st will cost a little more. Prices were revised with a resolution of the municipal council to adapt the tariffs that have been unchanged for nine years.
The path towards the increases was shared with the trade unions and trade associations. The measure, proposed by the councilor for the One-Stop Shop for Productive Activities, Vincenzo Abbruscato, provides for a total increase of between 10% and 15% compared to 2015, with new tariff values of both the pre-determined ones and the parameters of the single airport basin tariff.

The price list had been on hold for over seven years and did not take the increases into account. The price of petrol went from 1.20 euros to 2 euros, therefore almost doubled. For ten years it was 30 euros, now the daytime, nighttime and holiday rate is 35 euros.
