CHARLOTTE, NC (theACC.com) – Boston College and Syracuse scored Friday semifinal wins at the 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship, hosted at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina. The Eagles and Orange will match up at noon Sunday for the ACC title. ACC Network will broadcast the game.

No. 1 seed Syracuse rolled to a 19-4 triumph over No. 5 seed Virginia, while No. 3 seed Boston College outlasted No. 2 seed Notre Dame, 9-7, in a defensive battle. The Eagles advanced to the championship game for the third straight season and are looking to win their second consecutive ACC crown. Boston College and Syracuse played an overtime thriller just over a week ago on April 20, with the Eagles prevailing at home, 11-10.

All-Session ticket books for the ACC Championships in both men’s and women’s lacrosse are available for $50 and can be purchased HERE. All-Session passes are good for all 10 games in the ACC Women’s Lacrosse Championship as well as the ACC Men’s Lacrosse Championship, which will be held May 3 and 5 in Charlotte.

Individual Session tickets for the ACC Championship are available online HERE. One ticket gains admission for all of the games on that respective day. Children 2 and under are admitted free of charge.

No. 1 Syracuse 19, No. 5 Virginia 4

Top-seeded Syracuse (14-4) bolted to an 8-0 lead after one quarter in rolling to the win over No. 5 seed Virginia (14-4). It marked the largest margin of victory in a semifinal in ACC Tournament history. Olivia Adamson scored four goals while Natalie Smith, Emma Tyrrell and Emma Ward each recorded hat tricks. The Orange dominated the draw, winning 22 of 25 draw controls, including 16 from Katelyn Mashewske. Morgan Schwab had a hand in all four of Virginia’s goals, scoring two and assisting on two more.

No. 3 Boston College 9, No. 2 Notre Dame 7

The reigning ACC champion, Boston College (15-3) ended Notre Dame’s 10-game win streak, which was tied for the third longest active streak in the nation. Both teams’ defense was stout, with BC and ND each recording a season low in goals. Belle Smith and Kayla Martello each scored two goals for the Eagles, while Shea Dolce made eight saves in goal. Madison Ahern and Jackie Wolak scored a pair of goals apiece for Notre Dame (15-3).
