A series of initiatives are starting in Faenza that will tell the experiences, results and perspectives of some actions that are being carried out to increase the sense of social inclusion, welcome and solidarity. Meetings held in informal, open and friendly locations in the name of conviviality and in-depth analysis. There are four scheduled appointments. We start on Monday 29th in the people’s house in via Castellani 25 at 6pm with «Romane porto di terra». Don Luigi Verdi, founder of the Romena Fraternity, will be present, a “land port” where more and more travelers pass by in search of a place where they can stop, meet themselves and others, and resume their journey (Info on www.romena. it).
The second is scheduled for Friday 3 May at 6pm in via Fornarina 12/14. The theme is “Working for the Community” and will be introduced by Danilo De Luise of the “San Marcellino” Foundation of Genoa and Luca Faggi of the Asp Cesena Valle Savio. Those who work within the community fight to promote at a social level the human dignity of people who, for different reasons, find themselves in the most difficult situations, to help them return and participate fully and with the possibility of expression in the social context in which they live . The third is «Resistance and Memory». It will be held on Sunday 12 May at 10am, at Ca’ di Malanca, and includes the participation of S. Mucchini and A. Giannanti from the Resistance Archives. Archives of the Resistance of Fosdinovo is a collective that promotes, on a daily basis, at the Audiovisual Museum of the Resistance, the values of freedom, democracy and social justice that inspired the Resistance and which are at the basis of the Constitution of the Italian Republic, through the activation of paths educational-cultural, investigative and historical insights (Info on www.museodellaresistenza.it).
Finally, the «Social justice and citizenship rights» path scheduled for Thursday 30 May will close. At 6pm in via Fornarina 12/14 here Gaetano Giunta of the Me.SSIn.A Fondazione Sociale Evoluto will delve deeper into the topic. The Evolved Social District pursues objectives of social justice and sustainable human, economic and social development. For this reason it designs, experiments and promotes new socioeconomic approaches and paradigms within which all people can fully realize their citizenship rights. (Info on www.fdcmessina.org).
