SAN VITO DEI NORMANNI – The traveling library initiatives will start on Monday 29 April at 5pm at the “Giovanni XXIII” municipal library of San Vito dei Normanni. The inauguration of the same will take place in the presence of the regional guarantor for people with disabilities, Antonio Giampietro, of the city guarantor for people with disabilities, Dario Siciliano and of Elvira Zaccagnino, director of the “La Meridiana” editions and of the “Readers on equal terms” project ”.
The initiative shared by the consortium for the creation of the integrated welfare system of the Br1 social territorial area and by La Meridiana editions already sees the possibility of learning about, leafing through accessible books and venturing into accessible readings from Monday morning and in fact the afternoon inauguration will be preceded, at 10.30 on Monday, by a workshop on “Technology and narration: power and possibilities for people with disabilities” organized by the Zip.h cooperative, with Beppe Rossini and users of the cooperative, for secondary school boys and girls first degree.
“On Monday afternoon, the city council meeting is scheduled in the same place and considering the value of the initiative, I will propose the suspension of the works for the inauguration of the traveling library – said the mayor Silvana Errico -.
