A busy period for the boys of the MBH Colpack Ballan CSB team after the double commitment on April 25th in Rome and Nerviano. The health conditions of some runners who have had some physical ailments and are under observation by the technicians are still being ascertained. There could therefore be some changes to the roster.
After the 3 excellent victories in the month of April with Pavel Novak and Florian Kajamini we look ahead with ambition and with an eye on competitive programming.
We leave immediately tomorrow, April 27th Franciacorta in the Brescia areawhere you run through the vineyards for 153 kilometres.
In the race Mark Valent, Christian Bagatin, Matteo Ambrosini, Leplod Zoltan, Lorenzo Vesco and Florian Kajamini. DS Davide Martinelli knows the roads of Franciacorta very well, coming from nearby Lodetto.
The next dayon April 28th, we move to Veneto, at the Vicenza Blondes. Directed by Flavio Miozzo, the fast men of the team will go in search of the result. In addition to the returning Matteo Fiorin, 8th in Nerviano, there will be Matteo Ambrosini, Christian Bagatin, Edoardo Cipollini, Orosz Balint and Samuel Quaranta in the race.
Sunday instead there is a double commitment with a short time trial in Capraia, in Tuscany, where a 7.7 km time trial is held in the province of Florence on the Castra climb. The following day the challenge continues with the competition Castel D’Albola, where in 2023 Pavel Novak won ahead of Florian Kajamini. The Czech will still be at the start escorted by Bracalente, Nespoli, Vesco, Volpato and Valent.
On May 1st another part of the team goes to the province of Verona, in Valpolicella in Sant’Ambrogio. In the race there will be Bagatin, Lepold, Cipollini, Casalini, Boscaro and Monister. This occasion saw the return to racing of Sergio Meris, who had been out of action for about twenty days due to a fall which left him with a fractured coccyx. The team will be directed by Flavio Miozzo.
On the 5th again space for sprinters with the Porto Circuit, in the Cremonese area, an international race where there is usually a great sprint finish. For this reason Samuel Quaranta, Davide Boscaro, Matteo Fiorin will aim for the big target. The support team is yet to be defined in detail.
On the same day there is also a race in the province of Arezzo, in Montalto, for the Tortoli Memorial, dedicated to the DS who died prematurely. Flavio Miozzo leads the team.
