The historic founder of Bar Teani has died

Lucca in Lucca for the death of Luciano Teani, founder of the homonymous bar in the historic centre, still managed by his children Ezio and Michela. The funeral took place today (April 26).

The memory of Caffè Giurlani is moving. “We are very sorry and saddened by what happened, but we are well aware of what he represented for Lucca, but above all for our company over the years. He was one of the first to put his trust in the work of our grandfather Giorgio first, and then of our father Giuseppe. One of our many customers, who we have served for more than 40 years.”

“In fact – they continue from Caffè Giurlani – precisely one of the main reasons why still today we continue in our activity, it is also and above all, to pay homage to those who, like our elders, worked so hard to obtain similar results, but also to continue that splendid supplier/customer relationship that has lasted for a long time and which in the vast majority of cases leads to an inevitable relationship of friendship and mutual esteem. So, it’s not just about producing coffee or providing a service. Perhaps the most difficult job, but also the most satisfying and rewarding, is precisely that of being able to build personal relationships with our interlocutors/consumers. Having said this, we want to remember him with his smile always on his face, always ready for a footballing leap of faith, thanking him once again for the preference given to us over time and for the great work done both with his own business and with that of a parent towards their children.”
