Naples, Trenitalia and NINTENTO present The Legend of Zelda train

Presented this morning at Napoli Centrale station the Rock train livery “The Legend of Zelda”the first train in the world dedicated to the legendary video game saga that will accompany fans and enthusiasts to Comicon Napoli, one of the largest cross-media festivals in the world currently taking place at the Mostra d’Oltremare until April 28th.

Born from the special collaboration between Regionale di Trenitalia and Nintendo Italia, the Rock train In recent months he has traveled on a journey that has led him to stop at the stations of some of the most evocative Italian destinations, significantly reminiscent of the spectacular settings that first made The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and then Tears of the Kingdom, two open world adventures that are nothing short of revolutionary for the gaming industry.

The tribute train, dedicated to the last chapter of the Legend of Zelda saga, stopped at platform 12 to welcome fans who were able to board the customized vehicle. Subsequently, carriage 3 was opened to the public, internally set up with references to the settings and most sensational moments of the video game. Furthermore, still inside the livery train, a meet&greet with the creator was held JosephTheGamer and the two illustrators Wallie And Quasiredwho presented their works dedicated respectively to the protagonists Link and Zelda, created exclusively to celebrate the union between the last adventure of the two heroes and the Neapolitan capital. In fact, the illustrations reproduce iconic elements of the Campania landscape and Easter eggs on the theme of travel, inserted in the dreamlike context that made The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, one of the most loved video games of 2023.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is the exciting open world adventure set in the kingdom of Hyrule, released last May only on the Nintendo Switch family of consoles. Winner of the “best action and adventure video game” award at The Game Awards 2023, this latest chapter allows you to follow the exploits of the hero Link, ready to continue his adventure begun in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and to reveal the truth about the catastrophe that threw the world into chaos. With The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the borders of the kingdom of Hyrule have expanded in all directions, thanks to the introduction of islands suspended in the sky and caves to discover and explore freely.
