A few days after the successful and appreciated 7th International Historic Costa Smeralda Rally, the Automobile Club Sassari achieved another significant success. President Giulio Pes di San Vittorio, a 56-year-old from Alghero who has been in command of the AC Turritano for two terms, is the new President of the Board of Directors of Aci Sport Spa, the company that deals with sports services on behalf of the Automobile Club of Italy. Among these stand out the organization of the Formula 1 Grands Prix of Monza and Imola and the Rally Italia Sardegna, but also Aci Storico, the technical, communication, personnel and marketing offices.
Pes di San Vittorio, the first Sardinian to hold a position of such prestige and responsibility in Aci, shared the merits with his staff. «The new role of president of Aci Sport Spa fills me with pride, even more so because it is the first time for a Sardinian. This is not a personal success but an achievement made possible by the superlative work carried out with me in recent years by all the staff that I have the honor of directing at the Automobile Club Sassari, which has increasingly become a reference for regional, national and international motorsport. international. The announcement took place during the Ordinary Members’ Meeting of the Automobile Club Sassari, in which the board also announced the closing of the 2023 budget with a profit of 24,240 euros, the signing of an agreement with the Automobile Club of Italy for the overall redevelopment of the current institutional headquarters in Viale Adua, the establishment of the first Renewable Energy Community by Aci and Ac Sassari and the increase in the number of members.
