Carmelo Incardona (in the photo), former regional deputy, and son of a victim killed by the mafia. He intervenes after the attempted murder of former justice collaborator Roberto Di Martino. Another aspect to think about.
“It cannot be allowed – states Incardona – that those who killed and caused so much pain, taking part in mafia organisations, can return to live – reside or settle – even if they are collaborators of justice, in the city where they killed and terrorized the entire community . Victims may also encounter the person who killed your father or ordered his death in a bar, or in any public establishment. It would be more than right to avoid such an eventuality. The reasons are within intuition without having to resort to explanations. Without saying that the introduction of a ban in this sense would avoid or in any case make it more difficult for the same individuals to return to crime or to attempt to reorganize a criminal association, as happened in Vittoria. I hope that Senator Salvo Sallemi will promote a bill in this sense with the support of all the institutions starting from the city ones”.
