The show continues in Asti, with the last date on Friday evening Arturo Brachetti, the greatest quick-change artist in the world, who returns to the Alfieri Theater in Asti with ONLY the Legend of quick change and reopens the doors of his home, made of memories and fantasies; a house without place and time, in which the above becomes the below and the stairs go down to go up. An important centenary that will also be celebrated in Asti. In 2024 the world of music commemorates the first centenary of the death of Giacomo Puccini (1858-1924), an anniversary of the utmost importance, which is celebrated by opera houses and concert seasons all over the world. Friday 26 April at 6.30pm in the Civic Concert Hall “Giuseppe Verdi” Music Institute Regie Sinfonie will keep the memory of the great composer from Lucca alive with the concert Women by Giacomo Puccini, an enchanting anthology of instrumental transcriptions of the most famous arias from Puccini’s operas performed by the piano duo formed by Aurelio and Paolo Pollice. Friday 26 April, at 9pm, it will take place at Balbo Theater of Canelli lor show Partisans Always!, a mix of sounds, memories, atmospheres, memory, echoes, narratives. A set of voices, never so out of the chorus, for a courageous and powerful show. A story that is the mother of all stories, the sister of every resistance, the daughter of every struggle, of every hope to remember that CHANGE and RESISTANCE are a PATH that can never be interrupted. Saturday 27 April at the San Giuseppe Theater in Fountain the presentation of the faithful transcription of the Diary of Monsignor Alessandro Soave, starting from 10.45am.
On April 27th at 9pm, the Municipal Theater of Monastero Bormida, will host a performance of Kesselring’s great classic, “Arsenic and Old Lace”. This production is staged by the Teatro del Rimbombo, with a talented cast that includes Deborah Cervone, Sara Sciammacca, Mariaelena Rigobello, Cinzia Revelli, Andrea Villa, Federica Merlano, Selene Bofitto and Angela Fascioli. The collaboration of the Circolo Culturale I Marquesi del Monferrato continues with the Alpini Group of the municipality of Bruno, who on the occasion of the anniversary of April 25th, decided to offer the opportunity for a reflection on freedom and war in the light of the most recent events of international news. The invitation is therefore to participate in the conference which will be held on Sunday 28 April at the Alpini headquarters Brunolocated in Piazzale Belvedere, starting from 11am. Details HERE.
