The 35th day of the Serie B championship opens this evening with two advance matches, both with kick-off at 8.30pm. The Venice hosts in the lagoon the Cremonesewhile the Catanzaro will be on stage atArena Garibaldi in Pisa against the local Nerazzurri.
For Vivarini’s men, the trip to Tuscany will be fundamental, at the home of Pisa the Giallorossi will look for a victory to stay in fifth place in the standings, also hoping for a simultaneous defeat of Cremonese to move closer to fourth position. First half
Ready to go, not even two minutes pass before the Eagles take the lead. Successful scheme on a corner taken from the left by Vandeputte who crosses towards the far post but the trajectory goes out, there he finds Pontisso who undisturbed with a full neck on the volley pierces Nicolas. Pisa 0, Catanzaro 1.
After the initial skid, there are signs of a reaction from Pisa. Catanzaro organizes itself in defense and tries to exploit the counterattacks, while Pisa tries in every way to bring the match back into balance and in the 43rd minute, following a free kick taken from the left, Valoti heads it and the ball heads towards the far post but, again, it is wide.
After a minute of injury time the first half of Pisa-Catanzaro ends 1-0 for the Eagles.
