Stefano Borghicommentator and journalist DAZNspoke to Changing Room Chroniclesin the section ‘Taconazo‘ dedicated to him. The journalist expresses his thoughts on Stefano Pioli and his Rossoneri cycle which, presumably, seems to be coming to an end. Here are his words:

Not just a scudetto, not just a Champions League semi-final, not just a return to the Champions League first, but the quality of football expressed by the Rossoneri was very high. The Milan that wins the scudetto is a team that plays very well. I even define the Milan of Pioli’s cycle as epochal, I’ll explain why: the Rossoneri were going through, and we’re talking about a club that in Italy is the most successful on an international level, a dark era. It wasn’t going to the Champions League, it was light years away from the thought of a trophy, and Pioli brought Milan back to being a team that reaches the semi-finals of the Champions League, obviously losing to Inter, and the thought of second place in the championship must be taken for granted.
