Jonathan Milan wins the fourth stage of the Giro d’Italia, the 190 km Acqui Terme-Andora, in a sprint. The Italian Lidl-Trek rider wins ahead of the Australian Kaden Groves (Alpecin-Deceuninck) and the German Phil Bahhaus (Bahrain Victorious). Attempt by Filippo Ganna (Ineos) with a sprint on the Capo Mele climb 4 km from the finish line, canceled out 500 meters from the finish line. Slovenian Tadej Pogacar (UAE team Emirates) retains the pink jersey as leader of the classification ahead of Welshman Geraint Thomas (Ineos). Tomorrow the fifth stage, starting from Genoa and arriving in Lucca after 178 km.

Cycling, Vineegard returns to training and aims for the Tour de France
Tour de France champion Jonas Vingegaard is training on his bike again just over a month after a serious crash and hopes to take part in this year’s famous race. In a video message released by his Visma-Lease a bike team, the 27-year-old Dane said: «Of course I hope to be there at the start of the Tour de France. We don’t know exactly how… the recovery will go. But I will do everything I can to get there.”
Vingegaard trained outside on his bike Tuesday near his Swiss home for the first time since his crash at the Tour of the Basque Country on April 4 in which he broke a collarbone, several ribs and a finger, as well as puncturing a lung. «I feel good, I’m improving day by day. I still have some things to recover from but it’s getting better and better,” he added. The Tour starts on June 29th in Florence.
