The rain tries to disturb the weekend of those who remained in Busto Arsizio and Valle Olona, but volunteers and organizations are working to ensure activities and entertainment even during this wet and apparently unfortunate bridge. As? Simple, they equipped themselves, as happens in the two spring festivals in Busto.
Madonna in the Countryside
The feast of the Madonna in Campagna, at the Sacconago oratory, continues to attract bustocchi. On Saturday 27th at 9pm there will be music with Pedretti. Sunday 28th at 10am bonsai exhibitions with the Azimontis and flowers with Fioreria Moretti, at 4pm agricultural vehicles on display, at 9pm Acoustic Machine. The mass on Sunday 11th will take place in the parish church in bad weather, approaching the torch.
Feast of St. Joseph
At the park in Viale Stelvio in Busto Arsizio the weather tantrums do not scare: for the start of the feast of San Giuseppe the heated tent – and enlarged compared to last year, READ HERE – ensured the arrival of the bustocchi on Thursday evening. The parish and the Friends of San Giuseppe are waiting for Busto to report until May 12th, this weekend guaranteed gastronomic specialties and fun.
Spring air
On Saturday 27 April in Piazza San Giovanni, as part of “Primavera in Fiore”, “Spring Air” will take place, a market of flowers and floral-themed products, organized by the Associazione Arti e Sapori di Nord Ovest.
Afghanistan in Fagnano
Saturday 27 April, 6pm in the Council room, dialogue on Afghanistan with the contribution of the volunteers of the Emergency Group of Busto Arsizio and the patronage of the Municipality, Anpi, Pro Loco, Enzo Biagi library: Walimohammad Atai intervenes. Preceded by the inauguration of Giuseppe Bosio’s photographic exhibition, at 5 pm, in the Sala Camino
Bust in bloom again
On Sunday 28 April via Magenta will be the scene of “Via Magenta in Fiore”, the market of the Insubria Street Vendors Consortium; while in Piazza Garibaldi and Via Fratelli d’Italia there will be the stalls of the Antiques and Collectibles Market, organized by the Cronos Cultural Association.
Solbiate in music
On Sunday 28 April at the headquarters of “Insieme è Bello” (in via dei Patrioti 17) there will be a small concert with the most famous arias from the opera repertoire. Anyone interested can join starting from 3.00 pm.
