17:42:21 CASERTA. Three thousand members, 52 sections and 13 area offices. These are the numbers of Coldiretti Caserta, the widespread federation of farmers who in the location of theHotel Plaza in via Lamberti, in Caserta, will celebrate its provincial assembly at 10 am on Tuesday 30 April.
A great moment of togetherness for the federation led by president Enrico Amico who will greet the hundreds of members who will be present at the meeting.
Tuesday’s event will also be the time when the national organization celebrates its eightieth birthday of the birth of Coldiretti, founded by Paolo Bonomi in 1944. Eighty years in defense of farmers, as demonstrated by the recent Parmalat/Lactalis affair which saw its genesis precisely in Caserta, leading to the huge fine for unfair practices issued by the Inspectorate of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sovereignty, after the company violated legislative decree n.198 of 8 November 2021, strongly desired by Coldiretti to protect farmers and livestock in the supply chain.
Eighty years of representation and assistance to farmers that the Caserta federation wants to continue to carry forward: “We celebrate the first 80 years of Coldiretti, telling what we have done and, above all, the objectives of the association in Italy and on European tables“, said the president Enrico Amico of Coldiretti Caserta.
There is great anticipation for next Tuesday’s event, with hundreds of people already signing up and several buses ready to depart from the various areas of the province.
