CATANIA – The police officers of the Catania police station intervened in viale Kennedy, at a well-known hotel on the coast, following the report of a dispute.

The receptionist reported to the police that shortly before he had had a verbal argument with a customer, a 26-year-old Danish man who had been staying at the hotel for a few days, who, when asked to pay the bill, had declared that he had been in Sicily for around 45 days and that he no longer had financial resources.

The investigations carried out by the agents allowed to ascertain that the young man, in recent days, had already stayed in other accommodation facilities, both in Trapani and Palermo, not paying the hotel bills and for this reason he had been reported.

Based on what has been ascertained, after the formalization of the complaint by the legal representative of the hotel structure, the Danish citizen was reported in a state of freedom for the crime of fraudulent insolvency.
