The Local Police of Andria continue their territorial control services as part of their enforcement activities regarding the hours of sale and administration of alcoholic beverages. In fact, in recent days, specific services have been set up in the historic center.
In particular, both the owner of a 24/7 vending machine business for dispensing glass bottles after 9.00 pm and n. 2 customers because they consumed alcoholic beverages in glass containers in a public area, sanctions which are added to the ten previous ones, raised during previous checks.
In application of the rules contained in the Police and Urban Security Regulations, pursuant to art. 12 c. 2, for each violation there is an administrative fine of €250.00.
These controls are necessary for greater protection of hygiene, decorum, urban safety and public safety threatened by the abandonment of glass containers. The checks will continue in the next few days.
