The poodle breed dog abandoned in a hotel in Como
She left a luxury hotel in Como, where she had rented a room, leaving her dog behind: a 43-year-old Hungarian woman, resident in Austria, was reported, while at liberty, by the state police for abandoning animal.
The report reached the single emergency number directly from the Alberto administration: the police officers and the flying squad, in fact, started activities aimed at tracing the woman after receiving the report regarding the dog found in the room . The animal was alone, hungry and scared, which is why a volunteer association was immediately contacted to take care of it.
The episode dates back to the morning of Wednesday 24 April, but the woman was tracked down quickly: in fact the officers, while returning to the police station, found her on the street, wandering around in a clear state of confusion. Conducted to the police headquarters, the story that led to her abandoning the animal was reconstructed: the woman in fact left the hotel without giving any explanations to anyone and wandered alone first in the city and then in the nearby woods . A complaint was therefore issued against her for abandonment of animals, but the dog is still in the hands of the voluntary association that took it into care.
