CUNEO – Baladin and former Cantore barracks, is the Tettoia Vinaj affair expanding?

Beppe Lauria (Independence!) returns to ask for foreclosure. A question from the Independents on the management of the former infirmary: “It should be discussed in the commission”

From Beppe Lauria (Independence!) comes a question in which the question of the relationship between Tettoia Vinaj srl, the defaulting company towards the Municipality, and the tenant Open Baladin comes into focus. The Piozzo brewery is not involved in the civil case between the municipality and the manager of the building, however it somehow “took a stand” after the ruling, claiming that it could not set aside the rents owed to the Tettoia Vinaj company. Yet, Lauria underlines, the latter “he no longer holds the concession”given the fact that the srl’s lawyer himself asked to agree on the methods for returning the keys.

Can we think of a “third party” seizure of Baladin, asks the councilor, in light of this unavailability? And what initiatives were instead implemented towards Tettoia Vinaj srl, to guarantee the credit claimed? As of December 31, 2022, the company declared receivables of 326,100 euros and cash and cash equivalents of 27,506 euros in its balance sheet, as well as a net capital of 76,933 euros. Much less, of course, than the 938 thousand euros owed for non-payment of fees and charges.

The Independents instead turn the spotlight on what is now considered the other side of the story, i.e. the former infirmary of the Cantore barracks. At the beginning of the month the group filed an urgent question in which it requested the convening of a council commission on the financial management of the building (already previously requested). The property in which, among other things, the Atl and the Ping cooperative are based is managed by Exin Cantore srl, a company attributable to the surveyor Dario Dalmasso and that is to the sole director of Tettoia Vinaj srl. The paradox is therefore that whoever collects the rents of the former Cantore does not pay the rents of the Tettoia Vinaj.

In addition to this, we return to asking for an account of what has already been asked several times: why seven years passed before the legal action was started “in the face of a huge loan”, because the delivery of the guarantee which later turned out to be non-existent was not requested, because – moreover – the activity of supplying drinks and food was started despite the lack of one condition, namely the payment of the over 300 thousand euros of parking monetization. Questions which, together with doubts about the procedural strategy adopted by the Municipality and the failure to take possession of the premises (at least for now), continue to gather like clouds between Piazza Foro Boario and Via Roma.
