PESCARA – Green light from the Regional Council to increase resources for the public notice which provides economic incentives and compensation in favor of those artisan businesses that have suffered damage following the pandemic. This was announced by the councilor for Productive Activities, Tiziana Magnaccaafter the Regional Council approved its proposal to increase the allocation of the notice itself by up to 4.8 million euros to facilitate the scrolling of the list of beneficiaries.

“With this provision – clarifies councilor Magnacca – all the requests presented by the artisans, who have the requirements indicated in the notice and which have been included in the final ranking, will be satisfied according to a political and administrative line that this Council has established. The decision to increase the funds for the notice – continues the councilor – was dictated by the desire to give concrete answers to the artisans but also by the great response that the notice had among Abruzzo businesses. Requests for contributions deemed financeable for over 1000 companies have arrived in the regional offices, confirming the difficult moment experienced by artisans following the pandemic and the need to implement incentive and facilitation policies for the recovery of the sector”.

The increase of 4.8 million euros in the resources allocated to the notice raises the overall financial allocation of the notice itself to approximately 17 million. Started in November 2022 with 6.1 million euros, the notice, promoted by the former councilor Daniele D’Amario, had a first increase in January 2023 with the doubling, up to 12 million, of the resources and, finally, the further increase decided at the meeting of 4.8 million.
