IN THE VERSILIANA PARK IN MAY
Sunday 5th and Monday 6th Mayreturns the Tuscany Spirit Festival, the most important Tuscan event dedicated to the master craftsmen of liquor and distillation. In the Versiliana Park in Marina di Pietrasantawith strictly free admission, you can also in this second rich edition take a walk in the splendid park, sit comfortably at the bar to sip one of the 20 cocktails from the rich drink list, enjoy a tapas or other gastronomic proposals and listen to good music of an established DJ set, all this from 2pm until the evening.
But the real protagonists of this event which attracts a large number of curious people, enthusiasts and operators in the beverage sector to Versilia, will be them, the best Tuscan producers of excellent spiritsall lined up and ready to have their splendid creations tasted in the bottle: so let’s make room for adults gin, vermouth, bitters, bitters, vodka, china, grappa, cocktailaromatized wines, fortified wines, essential oils and snacks for the ‘cocktail shop’, then liqueurs and spirits of various typesTo make this evocative journey into ‘Tuscany to drink’, with just 10 euros it will be enough to equip yourself with the appropriate bracelet and then leave with free tastings at the various tasting benchesThe Festival will open its doors starting from 2pm and continue until 7.30pm, but the event will have a pleasant extension with a lounge area curated by Allextire, an aperitif at sunset, DJ sets, good music and possibilities to enjoy some good dishes. For the educational and cultural part, carefully looked after by the organizers, there will be set up, in the Green House space, three interesting masterclasses: Sunday at 4pm “Tuscany and Bitter”, at 5.30pm “Tuscan Liqueur, yesterday and today”, while on Monday at 4pm it will be the turn of “Gli Amari Toscani”. The speaker is Emilio Bellatalla, expert and teacher of the Fisar Delegation Livorno. From this edition, a small and tasty novelty, the Festival intends to reward the people who play an important role in the dissemination of Tuscan Spirits in the world. The award ceremony will take place on Sunday afternoon.”Tuscany Spirit Ambassador”a particular statuette created by the artist Carlo Cipollini which will be awarded to Julian Biondi, journalist, bartender and distiller, known above all for his column on Gambero Rosso Channel “Viaggi di Spirito”, a journey to discover microdistilleries, liqueur factories and alcoholic traditions from city to city. The event is organized by Gianluca DomeniciPenna Blu Edizioni and Paspartu Magazine, e David Pellegrini, Beach Games and Irene Coffee. The Festival makes use of the collaboration with the La Versiliana Foundation, the Municipality of Pietrasanta and the now consolidated partner Maggi Food & Beverage.TIn case of bad weather the event will take place regularly in the internal spaces of Villa La Versiliana
