The lifeless body of Rita Combi, the 64-year-old woman originally from Nettuno whose traces had been lost for days, was found between the countryside of Borgo Bainsizza and Borgo Santa Maria, in the area on the edge of the city of Latina. The alarm was raised on Sunday and the tom-tom immediately began on social media to find her, also because the woman needed insulin therapy. Her case was also covered by “Who saw him?”.
The woman’s car identified in the Pontine countryside
The rescue machine was activated mid-afternoon yesterday, Thursday 25 April, when the woman’s car was found in the Pontine countryside, thus narrowing the circle of operations. A fire brigade helicopter located the body. On site, together with the firefighters, also the police officers of the Latina police station and the civil protection volunteers of the Passo Genovese OdV group, alarmed by the regional operations room. It was already too late for the woman, because she had been dead for several hours. The police officers of the commissioner Raffaele Gargiulo are now investigating, on site with the men of the Scientific division, while the body has been made available to the judicial authority to proceed with medical-legal tests useful to clarify the causes of death.
