Music at the Palazzo Ducale in Massa: here are the musical Friday events

The Musica a Palazzo festival is back, for every Friday in May: a series of concerts that will be held at Palazzo Ducale, in the seventh edition of the event organized byLa Croma musical association. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the Tuscany Region, the Province of Massa-Carrara and the municipality of Massa, the event offers free concerts every Friday in May, performed by great masters of music. «This year too we wanted to bring prominent names from the national and international scene to Palazzo Ducale – he explains Lorenzo Giusti, artistic director of the event – ​​We are proud to be able to say that our concerts are always sold out and we hope to be able to increasingly expand the musical event. I thank the institutions that believed and still today support the initiative which has as its objective the diffusion and valorization of music and above all live music.” Musica a Palazzo begins on Friday 3 May at 9pm, with the “ArmoniEnsemble trio”, group composed of Palma di Gaetano on flute, Giordano Muolo on clarinet and Danilo Panico on piano. The three musicians have been dedicating themselves to concert activity in the solo, chamber and orchestral fields for years, with repertoires ranging from the 16th century to the present day. The exhibition will be held on Friday 10 MayAnima” by Moira Michelini on the piano. His concert aims to be a journey with the composers of the 17th and 18th centuries between Spain, Italy and Germany. Among these, JSBach, A.Soler and D.Scarlatti. Latin evening on Friday 17 May, entitled “El Tango: pasión y emoción” conducted by Federico Rovini, on the piano, and Endrio Luti, on the accordion. The duo will perform famous songs such as Verano Porteno, Oblivion, Ave Maria, Libertango. The following Friday, i.e. May 24th, is dedicated to a specific instrument: the harp, which gives its name to the performance of Floraleda Sacchi, i.e. “Arpissima”. Contemporary harpist, with a repertoire ranging from JS Bach to Ryuichi Sakamoto. The final concert of the VII edition of Musica a Palazzo will be performed by Elvira Foti and Roberto Metrowho will hold the concert with four hands at the piano “Well, well done, encore!”. Program dedicated precisely to the Encores, with songs from all over the world through a musical “journey”.
