The production returned to the Pontine capital for the final filming, which took place last night in Piazza del Popolo
Grand finale of production for “Adorazione”, the TV series produced by Picomedia Srl and based on the novel of the same name by Alice Urciuolo, filmed between the months of September and December in various locations in Latina and Sabaudia. On Tuesday the production returned to the Pontine capital to shoot the last scenes of the series, soon available on Netflix, exactly in Piazza del Popolo where it remained until late in the evening.
“An important commitment that saw our territory as the protagonist, which after the first and second season of Prisma returns in style on international streaming platforms, demonstrating how the province of Latina is unquestionably the perfect location for films and, as in this case, of teen drama – comments Rino Piccolo, director of the Latina Film Commission – I thank Picomedia Srl and the entire crew for the excellent work done and the synergies established in the area. A reality like theirs, well known for the successful series ‘Saturday, Sunday and Monday’ and ‘Mare Fuori’, has undoubtedly fueled the strong cinematographic vocation of this land, highlighting its great potential also in terms of economic and tourism development .
Among the locations used we find the Latina bus lines and the town hall, the latter transformed into a police station. As regards the city of Sabaudia, filming was carried out in the “Rita Levi Montalcini” Institute and in the former “Sabaudia al lago” hotel, which for the occasion had become a welcoming bar.
“We thank the Latina Film Commission for the support offered during all these months of filming and the municipal administrations of Latina and Sabaudia for allowing us to work in complete serenity. We would like to extend particular gratitude to the Municipality of Latina, in the figures of the Mayor, the Councilor for Tourism and their secretariats because in this last part of filming, not foreseen in the initial work plan, they issued all the necessary authorizations in a very short time, demonstrating exceptional empathy and helpfulness. We rarely find such particular attention. Last but not least, our thanks go to all the citizens of Latina and Sabaudia because, despite the curiosity of the set, they always ensured us maximum confidentiality and tranquility in our work.
