16 video surveillance projects approved in the prefecture of Foggia

They will provide support to the police for the prevention and repression of crimes

Green light in Foggia from the provincial Committee for public order and safety, chaired by the prefect Maurizio Valiante, for the projects for the construction of video surveillance systems to be financed with the funds allocated by the Ministry of the Interior.

Sixteen in total the projects presented by the municipalities of Alberona, Casalnuovo Monterotaro, Castelluccio Valmaggiore, Castelnuovo della Daunia, Cerignola, Ischitella, Lucera, Manfredonia, Orsara di Puglia, Rocchetta Sant’Antonio, San Giovanni Rotondo, San Nicandro Garganico, San Paolo di Civitate , Torremaggiore, Vico del Gargano and by the union of the municipalities of the Five Royal Sites.

During the meeting, the importance of implementing remote control systems as a tool for deterring widespread and predatory crime phenomena was reiterated.

The projects also provide for the provision of valid support to the police forces also in the context of judicial police investigation activities and, in general, in the protection of the safety of the territory and citizens.
