In the province of Massa-Carrara, there is a class of drivers with undisputed talent and loyalty to respecting the highway code that has distinguished them over the years. Avoiding serious sanctions such as the revocation of their driving licence, they were the honored protagonists of the “Festival of driving pioneers” at the provincial headquarters of‘Automobile Club Massa Carrara.

The president Fabrizio Panesi, together with the Aci Apuano board of directors and the director Bianca Abbruzzese, have always supported and valued this initiative, which promotes road education and transmits discipline to young drivers, thanks to the exemplary behavior of road veterans.

The event was attended by illustrious guests such as regional councilor Giacomo BuglianiThe prefect of Massa-Carrara Guido Aprea, the mayor of Massa Francesco Persiani and the vice president of ACI Mirca Pollina.

President Panesi highlighted the importance of the work carried out also in the schools of the province to promote preventive measures and offer services such as the renewal of driving licences, even for prisoners, and participation in automotive events.

Before the annual assembly of the Aci, a moment was dedicated to remembering the vice president Luciano Ugatti, who recently passed away, whose commitment and humanity will remain indelible in everyone’s hearts. A touching moment was the presentation of a plaque in memory of her husband to his wife Rita Puntelli.
