ANCONA – I murals with the history of Ancona on the facades of the Galleria del Risorgimento they will have to wait. The new face of the entry and exit infrastructure from the city center was supposed to be ready by April 25th, but instead the rain of the last few days has slowed down the work of Giacomo Bufarini, aka RUN, the internationally known street artist from Ancona, commissioned by the Municipality to create the work. Therefore, according to the new timetable, the artist will complete the façade of the gallery, on the Asse side, and the background on the Via Giannelli side by the end of April. The second facade will be completed in early July, both for the upcoming San Ciriaco fair, and therefore for issues related to traffic, and for the commitments that RUN had already made in Shanghai for the next few months. Meanwhile, the murals with the history of Ancona are taking shape, giving new life to the gallery. The project presents itself as a large bookshop with shelves that house historical, architectural and customary elements identifying the capital. You can already see the lions of the Cathedral, the iconic Fincantieri crane, elements that recall the sea and the port.

The Risorgimento Gallery will be redeveloped not only externally, but also internally. The municipal administration, in fact, has taken out a loan of 400 thousand euros for installation and decoration works. The aesthetic intervention was entrusted to the architect, engineer and designer from San Benedetto del Tronto Enzo Eusebiwell known worldwide, which will make the tunnel more modern and attractive.
