“The dates that celebrate indelible pages of history represent important moments of reflection, especially when we are experiencing particular historical periods, as well as those we are experiencing globally.
For our Italy, April 25th represents a date of fundamental importance in the history of each of us, because the events of those days changed, forever, the socio-political scenario of our nation.
In those days, the protagonists were the young people called to fight for the ideals of freedom, democracy and rebirth.
We must thank those boys who sacrificed themselves to revive Italy, plagued by war.
It is a moment, therefore, to honor those who fought for our freedom and to commit ourselves to preserving it for future generations.
The resistance to the dictatorship is an example of courage and determination that we must continue to remember and celebrate. Today, more than ever, we must remain united in defending the values of justice, equality and solidarity, taking nothing for granted.
The global geopolitical situation demonstrates how the ideals of peace, freedom and democracy must be pursued and defended every day, because they are the most important legacy that our grandparents left us.”
