The Ordinary Assembly of the Members of the Automobile Club Sassari, which took place last Wednesday 24 April in the institutional headquarters in Viale Adua, was anything but a banal event, in light of the topics on the agenda of primary importance.

President Giulio Pes di San Vittorio announced that, by virtue of the decision taken by the ordinary shareholders’ meeting of ACI Sport SpA, he will soon also take on the role of new President of the Board of Directors of the same Company. A position of great prestige and responsibility, which for the first time is held by a Sardinian. Aci Sport Spa is the company that provides sports services on behalf of the Automobile Club of Italy.

After special thanks to the members of the Board of Directors, the Board of Auditors, the director Alberto Marrone and the entire administrative structure of AC Sassari, the president of Pes di San Vittorio concentrated on the topic of the budget and gave the accounting results highlights of the Association, which in 2023 were positive with a profit of 24,240 euros. In his report, an integral part of the Ac Sassari budget provision, the president underlined that he had signed an important agreement with the Automobile Club of Italy for the overall redevelopment of the current institutional headquarters in Viale Adua, with also the activation of the procedure for the establishment of the first Renewable Energy Community by Aci and Ac Sassari. After the intervention of Dr. Filippo Carboni to present the report of the Board of Auditors, the 2023 budget of AC Sassari was approved unanimously by the members present.
Membership and Sports.
In 2023 the Automobile Club Sassari recorded an increase in its members and the numbers are also growing at the end of the first quarter of 2024, thanks also to the precious work of promoting the association’s activity.
The automotive sporting events organized by Ac Sassari in 2023 have consolidated the institution’s role within the national and international events included in the Aci Sport sporting calendar.
