Dell’Aquila: “The commitment of the municipal administration to improve usability and quality of life”

FOGGIA – More care and greater attention to street furniture: repair, restoration and refurbishment work has begun on 36 benches located in the central areas of the city. The announcement was made on behalf of the Foggia PD by Democratic Party council leader Pasquale Dell’Aquila. “The interventions”, explains Dell’Aquila, “which will concern 36 benches located in the areas of Piazza Cavour, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Corso Garibaldi and Piazza XX Settembre, are another concrete sign of the commitment that the municipal administration is putting in place to progressively redevelop street furniture and improve the quality of life of people from Foggia. Thanks to close collaboration with the Public Works Service, it was possible to plan and start the redevelopment interventions. The project involves extraordinary maintenance of the wooden parts and a review of the metal structure of the benches, in order to guarantee safety and comfort for the benefit of the community. The importance of these urban micro-regeneration initiatives – underlines the council leader of the Foggia Democratic Party – is fundamental for increasing the well-being and liveability of the city. The benches are a meeting and resting point for citizens, and their redevelopment contributes to making our streets more welcoming and usable”.

“The Democratic Party of Foggia – concludes Dell’Aquila – will continue to strive to improve the city and promote projects that enhance public spaces and the quality of life of citizens. The redevelopment of the benches is just one example of the continuous efforts of the municipal administration of the mayor Maria Aida Episcopo to create a more beautiful and functional city”.
