CALTANISSETTA. Voters suffering from very serious illnesses can vote from home both for the elections of the Mayor and the City Council of Caltanissetta and for those of the European Parliament
Voters suffering from very serious illnesses and unable to leave their home can request to cast their vote at home in view of the elections on 8 and 9 June, dedicated to the municipal elections and those of the representatives of the European Parliament.
To submit the application, drawn up according to the form at the foot of the page, it is necessary to send the Mayor an express declaration certifying your desire to vote at home in a period between Tuesday 30 April and Saturday 25 May 2024.
The request for admission to vote at your home must indicate the home address, a telephone number and must include the following documents:
Copy of the electoral card
health certification issued by the ASP, which certifies the existence of a physical infirmity that prevents them from going to the polling station.
photocopy of an identity document

The law provides for home voting exclusively for voters “suffering from very serious infirmities, such that leaving the home in which they live is impossible” also with the aid of the transport services made available by the Municipality to facilitate reaching the polling station by disabled people, and in favor of those “suffering from serious infirmities who find themselves in conditions of continuous and vital dependence on electro-medical equipment such as to prevent them from leaving the home”.
