Accident at work yesterday at the Gervasoni company in Pavia di Udine. A worker, engaged in waterproofing work on the roof of the showroom area, he fell from a height of approximately four metres.
Around midday, the regional health emergency operations room received a call for help for a person who had fallen from a skylight. An ambulance and a medical helicopter were sent immediately. Fortunately, upon their arrival, the rescuers found the worker, a 37-year-old Tunisian citizen residing in Rivis di Sedegliano, conscious even if in pain. He was transported to Udine hospital by helicopter in code yellow.
The carabinieri of the Palmanova Company and the staff of the health company specialized in safety at work also intervened at the site of the accident. According to an initial reconstruction of the dynamics of the incident, the worker tripped over a sort of bracket and fell, fortunately wearing a helmet and harness. After the fall he remained conscious.
