Acqualatina applauds the renewal of its Board of Directors: Aprilia without water for 12 hours straight
Descriptive text here

“Acqualatina welcomes the renewal of its Board of Directors.
This time it is the one who reigns supreme – in complete discontinuity compared to the recent past
was Fratelli d’Italia, achieving an “All-in” in the company’s top political body
pontine.
But while choruses of applause rise from the current city majority, because finally “there will be a change of pace compared to the old management which was a failure” – as the mayor Principi commented – the city languishes. Yes, because the day after the renewed council, the city, as its first “official act”, found itself without water for 12 hours straight.
Definitely a change of pace that made the citizens rejoice! leaving the taps dry for many commercial businesses, for the elderly, for entire families with small children, for people with disabilities, creating quite a few inconveniences for citizens, already harassed by the continuous
inefficiencies of the water manager, which have been going on for years now.
While part of politics, up to the provincial leaders, in a self-referential manner, shows off the great results obtained by the manager, the recipients of water policies are a completely different story, that is, the citizens themselves, tired by now from not having water in the evening hours and at night (not to mention especially the summer period, when the water pressure on the upper floors does not reach the slightest).
Well, that change of pace – so longed for by the mayor – does not seem to have manifested itself so far. New board of directors, but same unresolved problems as always. And the situation doesn’t seem to be improving. And this is not about political coats and colors, this is about guaranteeing a water service which over the years has not seen improvements or increases in investments for the Aprilian territory, with pipe failures commonplace, with sudden interruptions
which bring the entire city commercial network to its knees, with businesses forced to close in the absence of water.
What we ask – of any political color – is the right attention to the City! THE
citizens legitimately demand a service that is worthy of the era in which we live. A service that is not only sufficient for a city of 80 thousand inhabitants, but a worthy service that is up to those challenges that are so widely advertised. We want to see concreteness. The appeal we address to the Manager is simple but effective: we want an efficient service for all citizens, maintenance that does not expose users to continuous and sudden
interruptions! Now, above all, that there has been a new agreement between the administration and the water manager to find the defaulters! It is not right that those who pay should also pay for those who turn a deaf ear.
The means are there (reading the statements about the investments to be made and noting how new “smarter” meters have recently been installed in many homes), now the will is needed, but a will that meets citizens and their needs.
Water is a good for everyone!”

Thus in a note from The Other Side of Politics.
