They died a few hours apart on April 25th after being fell from the balcony: it happened to two men, respectively a Marsala it’s at Palermo.
Investigations are underway in both cases to understand whether it was two accidents or voluntary gestures.
Two men fell from the balcony, the case of Palermo
According to an initial reconstruction, a 42-year-old from Palermo fell from the balcony of his house, located at sixth floor of a building in via Brigata Aosta. Despite the desperate rush to the Villa Sofia hospital, there was nothing that could be done for the unfortunate victim: the man died from the serious injuries he sustained. It is not yet clear what happened.
In addition to the 118 health workers, the firefighters intervened on site.
The tragedy of Marsala
Also on April 25, a tragedy similar to that of Palermo struck another Sicilian community: the second of the two men who died after falling from the balcony was from Marsala (TP). The case occurred in a building in via Corsica. In addition to the 118 health workers, the Carabinieri intervened to reconstruct the story. Even in this case, it is not clear whether it was a voluntary gesture or an accident. The necessary investigations are underway.
