Intersezioni, dance and performing arts exhibition in Parma

It reaches its fifth edition Intersections & Next Generationa dance and performing arts festival directed by Monica Casadei, curated by the Compagnia Artemis Danza and created with the support of the Municipality of Parma.

Five events scheduled from 27 April to 29 May in unconventional spaces: Palazzo Marchi, Teatro al Parco, Workout Pasubio, Galleria San Ludovico, Spazio 360-ex Ferramola. Each evening will propose short choreographies by both emerging and established authors, coming from all over Italy, artists very different from each other in terms of sensitivity, aesthetics and style, enriched by the encounter with visual arts and live electronics.

A full immersion in the world of dance in which moments of entertainment and site-specific performances will alternate. The event opens at Palazzo Marchi with three short performance actions: the National Choreographic Center/Aterballetto presents A Gig, a microdance choreographed by Diego Tortelli, and SoaC by Federica Galimberti and Cristiano Buzzi, in which two dancers use the hip hop technique, while the Artemis dancers with Artemis Experience will offer a garden specific dance performance with choreography by Monica Casadei.

On May 7, at the Teatro al Parco, in collaboration with Solares Fondazione delle Arti, two choreographies by the MMContemporary Dance Company and one by Artemis Danza will take place.

On May 16, at Workout Pasubio, the future hub of youth creativity, the Balletto di Roma presents Anima Explora. Urban contaminations, choreography by J olomi Urunden and Daniele Rommelli, winning project of the Siae-Per Chi Crea competition. On 23 May the San Ludovico Gallery will host three dance actions: Ça ira by the French Cie Mf; 2, Pat y Rojo, choreography by José Reches, Btt-Ballet Teatro di Torino; Puccini’s Opera_Quadro 1 with the personal reading of the choreographer Monica Casadei. Finally, on May 29th, at the Spazio 360-ex Ferramola, in collaboration with Parma 360 Festival, Fattoria Vittadini presents Lingua, a choreography by Chiara Ameglio, and La Casa Oscura, in co-production with Artemis Danza, proposes Akmè, a choreography by Núria Argilés and Sabino Barbieri.
