More Free Time for everyone, at Fiera Bolzano until 28 April
The most loved fair in the entire region opened yesterday. Tempo Libero 2024 offers the perfect mix for the whole family: from the eight-stage Alperia Sport Hero sports route, to the vast Gaming Court area up to the four-day Street Food Festival with evening opening on Friday and Saturday. “Many highlights and many new features”, comments Director Mur. Together with spring, one of the most loved fairs by adults and children returns: Tempo Libero. A return naturally in style, with many new features. Fiera Bolzano opens its doors to the general public with four days of good food, sport, holidays and fun. In the pavilions of Fiera Bolzano the summer novelties for the outdoors, the garden and the holidays will be presented, as well as a richer program of events than ever, with three main themes to inspire the 46th edition: Sport, Food & Gaming.
Sport is once again at the center of the event, especially through Alperia Sport Hero, an initiative, now in its sixth edition, designed for all children and young people under 14 years of age. The aim is to introduce children and young people to sport in a playful way, encouraging them to practice more activities, build important social relationships and internalize significant values through fun, this year with eight stations with different sports. Furthermore, Tempo Libero once again offers local sports clubs the opportunity to present their activities and the club itself through “Sportissimo”, actively involving the public and inviting them to participate.
Finally, to celebrate the 2024 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Division I, Group A, in Bolzano, each holder of a valid ticket for Tempo Libero 2024 will receive a discount of €5.00 at the ticket offices of the Sparkasse Arena for one or more games on April 28th. Offer valid for all price categories on tickets not already discounted.
With 14 Food Trucks from all over Italy and delicacies from all over the world, the Street Food Festival organized in collaboration with Nunu’s Italia constitutes the heart of Tempo Libero’s culinary offering for the fifth consecutive year. The Street Food Festival is open daily, on Fridays and Saturdays until 11pm, with free entry from 6.30pm! But that’s not all about Food: Saporita is back, the area at the fair entirely dedicated to gastronomic excellence from all over Italy.
Within the “Gaming” world, the Gaming Court will once again be the master, created in collaboration with the associations BeYoung and DUNG – South Tyrolean Gaming Fertilizer – this year on an even larger area entirely dedicated to digital and analogue gaming, with more than 40 interactive stations and video games available – free to play – for unrepeatable tournaments and challenges. Among the new features this year, The Witcher & Assassins Creed-themed Stuntfight Performance, a 10×10 meter VR area, a 50 m² Mixed Reality Mario Kart track and a setup for 16 people dedicated to Mario Kart Double Dash. On Sunday 28th the appointment with the South Tyrolean gaming star NAGUURA – Caroline Forer is unmissable.
As for camping, Tempo Libero has prepared an impressive exhibition area of over 2,500 m² with 25 prestigious brands: from compact or luxury campers to off-road vehicles and caravans.
Tempo Libero presents the Abruzzo region as the tourist destination of the year, with a stand dedicated to describing its spectacular natural beauty, which ranges from the Apennines to the Adriatic coast, making it an ideal holiday destination for young people and families. In recent years the region has invested heavily in tourist infrastructure and offers numerous outdoor activities such as hiking, cycling and fun on the beach, not to mention the charming villages where you can learn about and experience the local culture and taste the most authentic local delicacies.
