New inconveniences arriving on the Rome-Naples railway route. Ferrovie dello Stato has announced the temporary interruption of railway traffic on the FL7 line to allow infrastructure upgrading works in the Formia-Gaeta, Monte San Biagio-Terracina Mare and Sezze stations. The intervention, scheduled for tomorrow, will lead to changes for passengers transiting on this route.

Several Intercity trains will undergo timetable changes and will not stop at the Latina, Formia-Gaeta and Aversa stations. To guarantee continuity of service, replacement buses or continuation with other Intercity trains are planned. Similarly, some regional trains of the Rome-Naples connection via Formia will be subject to route limitations, with the activation of a bus service to allow the planned destinations to be reached. Among other changes, regional trains R 12607 and R 12612 of the Rome-Cassino connection will undergo timetable changes.

To facilitate passenger travel, bus stops have been provided in the squares in front of the affected stations, with some exceptions. For example, in Rome Termini, the buses will stop at Cotral, in Via Giolitti, height of house 38, while in Rome Tiburtina they will stop at station square 1, height of the Atac stop. Specific stops have also been identified in Campoleone and Cisterna to ensure transport continuity.

Trenitalia’s sales channels have been updated to reflect the changes to the service, and further information can be obtained by consulting the RFI website, Trenitalia’s digital channels or by contacting customer support staff at stations or ticket offices. Passengers are invited to inform themselves about changes in timetables and routes of the trains involved, in order to better plan their journeys and minimize any inconvenience during the period of interruption of railway circulation.
