In the case in question, the Judge accepted the request presented by a citizen of L’Aquila against the airline Vuelingcondemning her to pay compensation of 250 euros.

However, the flight on January 1, 2023 was significantly delayed, arriving at its destination almost 6 hours later than scheduled. Based on EC regulation 261/2004 of the European Union, the passenger was entitled to financial compensation for the inconvenience suffered due to the flight delay.
