Marsala, farewell to Felice Ferreri

Marsala says goodbye to Felice Ferreri. He passed away on April 24th. He was 81 years old. A postal worker, he was also known in the sporting world because he had played football as a young man.

This is how his brother-in-law Giuseppe Pino Pellegrino remembered him: “A gentleman, he was a gentleman. A respectable person. His kindness will remain in our memories, his kindness and his ability to understand others will accompany us for the rest of our lives. You are with us , in our hearts with the love you always brought to your family, to all your relatives, to your friends and acquaintances. An example of virtue, dignity, honesty and rectitude, you knew how to listen, guide and unsparingly open the door to anyone. asked you for help or support. In your life nothing has gone unnoticed; as a practitioner and lover of sport, football in particular and an attentive observer of news and changes, you have experienced every phase of it with simplicity but with a unique acuity of thought, telling your story experienced. Even in your passing, you retain the composure and decorum of your person and the silent but full of memories dialogue seems to return on the recomposed face”.

The funeral will be held today, Friday 26 April, at 4.30 pm, at the Chiesa Maria SS church. Help of Christians (the Salesians) of Marsala.
