Castellanzese with determination and pride overcame Brusaporto and drew 3-3. Unfortunately, the result was useless for the purposes of the ranking, as Castellanzese will participate in the playouts to avoid relegation to Eccellenza. And the neroverdi will face the play-off in a single match at the home of the very fast Legnano, forced to Verano Brianza due to the unavailability of the “Mari” due to the palio. The derby between neroverdi and lilla will be the only playout of Group B, because Real Calepina beat Ponte San Pietro and condemned Crema to direct relegation, together with Tritium and the same team from Bergamo.
The first half ends in tragedy for Castellanzese with a score of 3-0 in favor of Brusaporto. For the yellow-blues the goals were scored by Cellerino, Longo and Castelli and they were all concentrated in the first 26 minutes. The black-green reaction came in the second half with goals from Colombo, Serra and Compagnoni. It is from the spirit with which Mister Fiorenzo Roncari’s team took to the pitch in the second half that the Neroverdi will have to start again in view of next week’s play-off.
Kick off
Castellanzese starts with a 3-4-1-2. Spada is in goal. The defensive trio is made up of Sassaro, Compagnoni and Bernardi. The midfield 4-man line is made up of Pandini, Arrigoni, Areco and Reggiori. Boccadamo is in the back three in support of Chessa and Bigotto.
Brusaporto responds with a 3-4-3. Space between the posts for Passeri. The defense trio is made up of Baggi, Messina and Cellerino. Micheli and Seck act on the flanks, while in midfield it’s Selvatico and Valenti’s turn. The advanced trident is made up of Sciaudone, Longo and Castelli.

First half
The match started on an uphill climb for Castellanzese because in the 6th minute Brusaporto immediately took the lead. It was Cellerino who scored the momentary 1-0 goal, taking advantage of a ball coming from the right flank and slotting the ball into an empty net. In the quarter of an hour the Gialloblù also found the second goal with Longo who was the quickest of all to bag the ball after picking it up following a carom in the small area. Around the half hour mark the guests also arrive. Castelli managed to pierce Spada with a shot from thirty meters which went into the corner. At the end of the first half, Castellanzese tried to worry the guest goalkeeper, Passeri, without success, with shots from Chessa and Boccadamo. After the only minute of added time allowed, the teams went to rest with Brusaporto ahead 3-0.
Second half
At the beginning of the second half Castellanzese tries to shake things up with a tight shot from Compagnoni. Sciaudone responds to the neroverde who comes close to scoring the fourth with a dangerous conclusion. The goal of hope for Castellanzese is scored by the substitute Colombo, who finds a winning diagonal with which he pierces Passeri. The 2-3 goal came from another substitute, Mathias Serra, his first goal in Serie D, and he too found a perfect billiard shot. The neroverdi also try to find an equalizer with Chessa who sees a shot blocked by the visiting defense blocked in the corner. In the 39th minute Compagnoni stands taller than anyone and collects Mario Chessa’s cross from the flag to score the 3-3 goal. In the five minutes of injury time allotted, the black-green team also came close to achieving a sensational turnaround, first with Marmo and then with Chessa, but the last attempts were unsuccessful and so at the “Provasi” it ended 3-3.
