“Auriane lied to me, she told me she had withdrawn the complaint, that’s why we were together.” So Sohiab Teimathe twenty-one year old Italian-Egyptian from Fermo accused of the femicide of Auriane Nathalie Laisne, French, 22 years old, found dead with a cut in the throat on 5 April in La Salle, in Valle d’Aosta, justified himself before the judges of the Court of Appeal in Grenoble regarding the violation of the ban on approaching the girl, who had reported him for mistreatment. Next May 2nd it will be known whether Teima will be extradited to Italy as requested by the Aosta prosecutor Luca Ceccantior he will remain in prison in France.
The boy was arrested in Lyon on April 11th. According to the Aosta prosecutor’s office, Teima is “gravely suspected” of having stabbed his partner to death, which is why a European arrest warrant had been issued against him.
According to investigators, Teima killed the girl between March 26 and 27, then fled to France.

The Italian lawyers have not yet been able to speak to Teima, they will only be able to do so if there is an extradition. Only then will the 21-year-old be able to be questioned by Italian investigators and defend himself as he said he wanted to do.
