It is essential to promote a more balanced and positive vision of Calabria, challenging negative stereotypes and highlighting the many facets and talents of the region.” “Beyond the award, we all receive an important message from it, characterized by good models of life and daily practice – stated Giusy Iemma -. The true meaning of life is to do something that remains even after life itself and that is what our excellences have done.” Finally, Bonanno underlined that “this event perfectly embodies the values of Lionism, that is, serving and putting oneself at the service of the territory”. The service “Territorial excellence in the professions and the arts” was born in 2014 and, as illustrated in the conclusions by Pasquale Bruscino, governor of District 108 Ya, “has the aim of giving prestige to the excellence present in the various territories”. “Occasions like this can act as a stimulus, from the perspective of We Serve, for all Lion clubs, so that they can always find new talents”.
