“Tomorrow I expect a match along the lines of the one played against Fiorentina for eighty minutes, where we were very good on the pitch and we also demonstrated that we were reasonably compact. A performance of this kind will be necessary against an opponent who is in the running for salvation. We will find a very hot environment and we will have to be ready to face this match to the best of our ability.” These are the words of coach Stefano Colantuono on the eve of Frosinone – Salernitana.

“Di Francesco is a coach I respect and know very well having also had him as a player and I think he is doing a good job. Frosinone had to have this type of championship and I think they are doing it, they are a good team who at times have also expressed good football. A match awaits us which we have prepared well and which I hope we will face by implementing what we have worked on this week. I expect a top performance from everyone.”

“Compared to the last match, someone came out with some ailments but I think they recovered. We lost Candreva due to disqualification and Ochoa due to a physical problem but we recover Coulibaly and Manolas.”

The Granata coach then concluded: “For this championship finale we have set ourselves the objective of playing all the remaining matches to the fullest and I must say that from a commitment point of view this has been done. Even in training the team is trying to shake off the negativity of this season and I think it showed in the match against Fiorentina too but we also did it before with some mistakes that accompanied us throughout the championship. We must face these matches as I have always said, to the maximum of our potential as we did for example with Sassuolo, with Fiorentina or with Bologna. The problem is that we then compromised these matches in the opening minutes. It seems that we have partially solved this problem, now we must try to be united until the end.”
