The lifeless body of Rita Combi was found in the countryside of Latina: she had been missing for days

The lifeless body of sixty-four-year-old Rita Combi, the woman originally from Nettuno whose traces had been lost for days, was found this afternoon between the countryside of Borgo Bainsizza and Borgo Santa Maria, in the area on the edge of the city of Latina. In fact, the alarm was triggered on Sunday and the tom-tom immediately began on social media to find her, given that she needed insulin therapy. The case was also covered in the program “Chi l’ha visto”, broadcast on Rai 3.

The rescue machine was activated mid-afternoon today, April 25, when the woman’s car was found in the Pontine countryside, thus narrowing the circle of operations. After endless minutes of searching, a fire brigade helicopter located the sixty-four year old. On site, together with the firefighters, also the police officers of the Latina police station and the civil protection volunteers of the Passo Genovese OdV group, alerted by the regional operations room.

However, it was already too late for the sixty-four-year-old, who had been deceased for several hours and was found lifeless lying in the fields. The police officers of the commissioner Raffaele Gargiulo are now investigating the episode, on site with the men of the Scientific division, while the body has been made available to the judicial authority to proceed with medical-legal examinations useful to clarify the causes of death.
