ROME – The referee from Foligno Tiziana Trasciatti (photo) continues to write the history of Italian football and in particular that of gender equality in the refereeing sector.

The referee from AIA Foligno, who boasts an important career with numerous international experiences, has been designated as assistant for the match between the Italian Champions Inter and Torino which will not be just any match.

For the first time in the history of the Italian Serie A, there will be three women “domabre” 22 “lions” because the refereeing team will be all female. The referee will be Maria Sole Ferrieri Caputi, while the assistants will be Francesca Di Monte and Tiziana Trasciatti.
