LATINA – A story with a happy ending for an elderly woman from Latina Scalo who was targeted by a mugger who snatched her bag, but who, thanks to the promptness of a boy who tracks down the criminal, managed to recover the whole stolen goods.
The episode occurred yesterday morning around 11.30am in via del Murillo in Latina Scalo. The woman targeted by the mugger is an elderly woman who was walking on the sidewalk.
At a certain point the stranger, a young man of yet unidentified nationality, approached the woman and with a lightning move snatched the lady’s bag from her hand and immediately fled in the hope of losing his traces in the streets. adjacent.
The woman, petrified by surprise, didn’t even have time to react, but not so did a young man who was inside a van who noticed the movement and immediately understood what was happening. Without wasting a second he got out of the vehicle and started chasing the criminal in an attempt to block him and secure him for the police: the thief managed to escape from his pursuer, but in his escape he had to sacrifice the loot: in fact, to save himself he dropped the bag, without having time to take the precious things it contained.
The police then intervened on site and are now investigating what happened.
